Industrial Process Control Lab Report.
The aim of these experiments was to illustrate and understanding the basic controller actions and modes of operation significance in industries by using a process simulator. Several control actions to be explored are, two-step, proportional, integral and derivative control.
A process controller is used to maintain the required or optimal operating conditions such as temperature and flowrate to ensure consistency in the end-product and achieved the required specification. In feedback control system, controller’s function is to compare the controlled variable of a process with the desired output of the process (the set point). The error deviation in the process can simply be reduced by altering the input. Depending on the type of the controller, its comparison of the error to the set point to influences the input variable will be varied.
I have started on the paper although my work requires improvement. I also need the writer to complete the remaining sections.
