Role of long non-coding RNAs in hepatocarcinogenesis
Paper details
It is an invited review for the “International Journal of Molecular Sciences” on the role of long non coding RNA(lncRNA) in hepatocellular carcinome (HCC). I think to structure it in this way: -lncRNA in cancer: review of the current knowledge about lncRNA involvement in carcinogenesis with examples; -lncRNA in HCC : what is known about the involvement of lncRNA in hepatocellular carcinogenesis, mechanism of action and pathways involved, studies that have been done with particular emphasis on genome wide approaches like RNA seq; -therapeutic use of lncRNA: how knowing the pathways and the mechanism of action in which they are involved may be used as targets for therapeutic intervention and if there are study in which it has been done. I attached the template provided by the journal and some recent reviews on the argument that can be of inspiration but also to not be the same
