Supporting Significant Life Events

Task
We have to provide our UK case of significant event like illness, death, domestic abuse or birth and use it to answer assignment’s requirements. The case can be a real one from the internet or made up. The theme doesn’t matter for me. You are the manager of a health or social care organisation such as a care home and you are required to report to the management board on the effectiveness of the service when supporting people through significant life events.
You will need to prepare a report that:

1. Evaluates the effectiveness of organisational policies and procedures in supporting individuals and their social networks affected by significant life events
2. Explains how others in social networks may provide support
3. Evaluates the suitability of external sources of support for those affected by significant life events
4. Analyses the possible organisational responses to the need to support individuals experiencing significant life events
5. Makes recommendations for improving the support available in a health and social care organisation for individuals and their social networks when affected by significant life events.
